I was prompted recently by a friend to say why I love historical romance so much, so here goes:1. The chance for high stakes and adventure.
2. Glorious heroes.
3. Enterprising heroines.
4. Exotic and exciting settings.
5. Lovely costumes.
6. Insight and empathy.
7. Play and fun.
8. The drama of the past itself.
